George Frangoulis is the Founder and Publisher of Maine Evergreen Publishing.

George received his BA degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Abor and his MA degree in Communications and Media Studies from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Currently, George is an Adjunct Professor at Thomas College in Waterville, Maine, where he teaches business management, journalism, advanced writing and editing, as well as public speaking.

George’s academic experiences include the following: From 1988 to 2016, served as an Associate Professor of Journalism at the University of Alabama’s College of Communication. There he taught communications and media studies, as well as advertising, business management and public relations.

He has also taught communications and media studies courses at these college and universities: Judson College in Marion, Alabama, University of Montevallo in Montevallo, Alabama, Shelton State Community College, Tuscaloosa, Alabama

Regarding his extensive business experience, George is currently a SCORE Mentor, serving as a business advisor for many Maine companies and organizations. He is also a mentor for the Maine Center for Entrepreneurs.

He is also the Founder and CEO of Business Wise (BusinessWise.biz), a state-of-the-art business consulting and marketing agency. George also has an extensive background as an entrepreneur, starting, scaling up and selling business enterprises. These include the following ventures:
