Back in 2014, George Frangoulis, Founder & Publisher of The Evergreen Press, authored 57 books, and published by The Farmstead Press.
These books span a wide variety of readers' interests, including poetry, hobbies, people, history, and photography. Titles about people include a diverse collection of fascinating individuals, from pop music celebrities, Bob Dylan and Elvis Presley, to master playwright, William Shakespeare, to notable political dissident, Nelson Mandela.
Other popular books include topics on trout fishing and bow hunting, to American hotrods and vintage pickup trucks, to far-flung destinations, from the City of New Orleans to the Greek Island of Lesbos.
In 1973, George Frangoulis started magazine publishing company, The Farmstead Press, which launched FARMSTEAD Magazine (Maine Gardening and Small Farming), Maine Life Magazine and Successful Magazine Publishing, which also served as the official journal of the Small Magazine Publishers Association.
